What’s wrong, Nickelodeon?
Other than your subliminal brainwashing of our youth with ICarly and Drake and Josh, I mean.
The moment the scandal broke regarding Rhianna being abused by Chris Brown, you did nothing.
When the photos were leaked, you said nothing.
Petitions circulated to remove him from your Kid’s Choice awards, but still you did nothing other than taking the most cowardly position of leaving it up to the CHILDREN’S VOTE.  How easy is that for you as a company to let CHILDREN decide if a man capable of such violence against a woman deserves an award.

Why stop there?  What would you have done if Michael Vick was on your candidate list before his predilection for dogfighting was discovered?  Would you have allowed the children to make that call?  Or is domestic abuse just so yesterday as far as a social topic?  Michael Phelps, the greatest Olympic athlete we will ever know was villified for smoking pot, but if you hit and bite a woman, it’s a hard call???

What’s next for your network? Spongebob wailing on Sandy the Squirrel?  Dora the Explorer being mugged by Diego?

Sounds ridiculous, but then when you demonstrate no spine for the obvious, what are we left to think about your moral compass?

Or is the animated yellow sponge and his starfish buddy the only “people” with character on your staff????
