Kevin Bacon, watch out!

elevendegrees.png

I had the unique opportunity to tape Barry Sanders' ankles for two years at OSU....which is the place Garth Brooks got his start in country music....who knows Tim McGraw and Faith Hill personally....who have been interviewed by the one and only Oprah....as did Former President Clinton (I actually have a closer degree than this, but the FBI might get me!)....Robert DeNiro in a presidential scandal in Wag The Dog....before he teamed up with Dakota Fanning...who got her start with Gerald McRaney in Hansel And Gretel...that married Delta Burke and meant his vow through thick and thin...whose career was partially due to the dynamic duo of Linda Bloodworth Thomason and Harry Thomason....who just so happens to be one first name basis with Kathy Patrick, the owner of Beauty and the Book, the world's only beauty salon and bookstore....who is supposed to be reading my novel and helping me find a publisher that will treat me like the delusional princess I think I am.
WHEW!
So, now it's your turn - list your eleven or twelve degrees of separation and let's see how small the world really is!

I've worked so hard at fine-tuning my degrees of separation, I've separated memories of what/who they are ;)

When I lived in Dallas, I was a personal friend of the late, great Mickey Mantle. I knew his family, too. I've been to a party hosted by Neil Diamond and I once rubbed elbows with Cheryl Tiegs. Charlie Pride let me use his Texas Rangers tickets directly behind the dugout in the old Arlington Stadium (more than once).

But I think best of all, I know a handful of homeless people who hug me. There's no separation there.

Are we supposed to include a circle of pictures with this, too?

Be glad that you're separated from my parents. Believe me, you'd have a lot of blog material if you had to do physio at the cuckoo house. I'd enjoy reading about it cause I'm a little too close to laugh. But I could use one.

I'd participate, it's not that I don't want to, I just can't get started. With who?
Well, I commented anyway. That's something.

Hmmm. Have to give this one some thought. I worked on set with Shania once in 1999, who wore Troy Aikman's jersey... and...

Okay. Off to think.

I read your blog, which is read by millions. There's got to be 11 degrees of something out there for me!

Crap - I just don't have 11 degrees of anything except for maybe anxiety. :snort:

I have a great-uncle in the film business (he gets to vote on the Academy Awards) and a grandpa who has met the first President Bush, so I've probably got a lot fewer degrees of separation trying to connect to anyone famous.

LOL @ Mike, that's funny!
