There oughta be a law....
Apparently, I have offended the Credit Gods, Quick Pay Day Loan people, and Casino conglomerates as they are now trackbacking me right and left. Oh, did I mention Porn Kings as well have enlisted my blog as a referral site? Didn't know I was this popular in such eclectic crowds, but after 30+ trackback pings and now multiple comments from this ilk, it's a fact.
If anyone knows a smart way to put this harrassment to an end, please let me know. Erasing them and blocking their IP addresses doesn't seem to phase them. Maybe they are former Jehovah Witnesses, Amway consultants, or reformed telemarketers from the 80s.

you might have to change your format that you're using. I know that's why my host changed to what I'm on now. Which is PMachine.

They're like cockroaches Tish. You can't kill them, After the rest of us blow each other to hell, all that will be left is the cockroaches, Las Vegas, one adult book store on the Sunset Strip and DiTech all fighting for that last hunk of human cheese.......
By the way, happy new year to you and yours.

I eliminated the bulk of such traffic by adding the step of word verification (offered by Blogspot) to comment on my blog.

If you were using WordPress, I'd highly recommend the SpamKarma2 Plug-In (absolutely wonderful at eliminating the problem you are experiencing). Other than that, I'm sorry. I don't know.

That's why I put mine on moderation for first time commentors and trackbacks. It was the only way to keep them from making it all the way through. I haven't figured out a way to keep them gone for good though. I just keep moderating them as spam.
