You never know what you might hear

baseballbleachers.jpg T-ball practice is good for three things: gossiping, reading a new magazine, and walking. Seeing as I don't gossip (to people I don't know well yet, the season is early), have a new magazine (read it while waiting in car rider line at school), there was only one option left.
During the mile trek around the ballpark, I was entertained by the strangest compilation of comments, I just had to share.
"He wasn't really a bad guy,"
"but then this smell came out of nowhere,"
"And I almost threw up on the new carpet."
Three different conversations, one great story.
Tomorrow, I think I'll hang out at the assisted living center behind the ferns to string together an epic saga involving fedoras, Metamucil, and colostomy surgeries. NOW THAT'S A BESTSELLER.

I love eavesdropping on unrelated conversations. Too much fun! You ought to try it on a NY subway or bus sometime hehe.

"And he told me the average weenie is only a little more than 6 inches long when it's ready for business. I hate averages."

(I missed yesterday's post: riotonius.)

That's almost as good as listening to the ends of the cell phone conversations while grocery shopping (because really, we all need food...it's not like we have a choice; we are a captive audience). Sounds like ball park walks can be more interesting...
